Can anyone suggest / recommend any Data Masking / Scrambling tools that are out there ( with reasonable business success ) .
I need something to mask some client sensitive data ( eg : Soc.Sec#, Name , Phone # etc ) stored in a Sybase d/b. The tool should replace the original text with something meaningful eg : "Frank Smith" with let us say "Gary Shadyack" and consistently maintain referential integrity
across other tables. Any thoughts on scrambling algorithms are also appreciated.

looked into Steganography?

hide info in legitimate graphical images...    

may take up a bit more space in the database though.....
