My initial asp.net page is slow to load.

I've come across something called a "ASPAccelerator.NET" which is supposed to speed up asp.net pages. Found it at http://www.intesoft.co.uk/aspaccelerator/default.aspx.

Before I purchase it, anyone have anyexperience good or bad with it?

Thanks

I can't speak to this product specifically, but I tend to question the value of html compression in most cases.

Note the W3 consortium comments about it's own testing "...This test does not take into account the time it takes to compress an HTML object on the fly and whether this will take longer than the time gained transferring less bytes..."

What this type of product can do is compress plain html text.  What it cannot do is compress images and binary content.  So if you have a very text-heavy web site then using html compression may prove to be beneficial.  If your site is image-heavy then the time spent compressing may be more than the time saved transmitting less data.  If you site is somewhere in the middle (as most are) then it's a toss up.
