create directory for each item in a combobox

ok here how it goes

 i have a combobox and i want to create a sperate directory for each item in that combobox

lets say the items were 1,2,3,4,5

the dircecorys should be c:\1,c:\2.....c:\5

icreatedirectory('C:\1',nil); is not a soulotion

maybe this way ?

..
for i := 0 to combobox1.items.count - 1 do
  CreateDirectory(PChar('c:\'+combobox1.items[i]),nil);
..
