Outlook 98. How to forward to ebay so they can view header of scammer.

How can I view email headers in Outlook 98.

I've been asked to forward several emails from a scam artist on ebay, to ebay. But the say "The full header is extremely important". Which I certainly understand.

I've stumbled on doing this before but just don't remember.

What I really want I think is for them (ebay) to be able to view the header without them having to do anything. So can I forward them my email from the scammer showing the header in the email to me (the original)?

Scott,

Scroll down in this link to see what you need to do to get full headers for outlook

http://www.haltabuse.org/help/headers/microsoft.shtml

You can copy that and then send that to ebay

But i would suspect if you just forward the email of scammer to them , they may not see headers of the scammer but only headers of your email

So best thing is to see the header of the scammer , copy it , paste it to a new email and send that

I figured that way out on my own. But I didn't know if there was a better way or not. May I ask for a 2nd opinion?

The latter.

Again, I want the header of the original email to be immidiately viewable to the receipent of my forward.

Kind of a "Hey person C, this is person B, this is the view of the trail you asked for, with the body of the email also viewable from person A."

well..

The people who are going to receive your email basically should trust you ( in the sense that you are not going to change
the body message of the spammer)

a) You can copy and paste , both header and the email body to the people you are sending

b) Forward the email (by which they get email message) and copy and paste the header in another email

However convenient for you and for them... Both a and b should work fine
