Can I download files from the server to my PC

I had a crash and needed to reformat and reinstall Windows 2000 Pro.
I lost all of my webs.  They are intact on the server - I use Front Page 2000 to upload.  I can edit using Front Page, but I want the files local on my PC.  I thought I could simply open the file in Front Page and Save As...but that doesn't seem to work.  Is there a way to retrieve my webs from the server without copying and pasting every single file of which there are many?

Hi,

After you format and have your computer functioning properly you can open your web live using frontpage then publish from the webserver to your hard disk.

When you open the site live and select File>Publish  the publish window opens and you will have two windows  name the local folder and start publishing from the web to your local hard disk.

Remember to check "Include Subwebs" if it is not already checked. This way you don't need to cut and paste and you will have an exact copy of the website on your local hard disk.

It is very easy.

Thank you hhammash....it is easy.  I really appreciate you showing me the way.
But I'm still having a problem. My fonts are all messed up.  When I preview a page in IE the
fonts are huge and don't look anything like my Front Page saved page.  I have to use miscule fonts in Front Page to get a normal looking page on the web.  Can you think of a reason why this is happening?

Hi,

Did you use fonts that are not available in the default Windows setup when you designed the website?  If yes, you will need to reinstall the fonts after you formatted your hard disk.

Else,  would you please give me the link or explain more?

thanks
