I want small function in pure C that can delete any non generak char from a string
for example if i have somthing like "aly '+ sami ) " i want this function let it "aly sami"

void manipulation (char str[])
int pos ;
while ((pos=strspn(str,"abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyzABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ"))<strlen(str))
{
   str[pos]='\0';
  strcat(str,&str[pos+1]);
};
}
you have to include string.h
