Sage Payroll

I have a corrupt sage payroll.mdb file and the sage tools repair tool will not repair it.
I get the error message "Unrecognizable file format"

Have you tried rebuilding a copy of the database in Access using the repair tool?

Info here:

But:
- Only use this fix on a copy of your data

- If Sage has password protected the data you may not be able to use Access to open it anyway.

Otherwise, if you have a current user licence, you could contact Sage support directly for advice.

I have just found that the reason the file will not work is the hard-drive has bd sectors.
