Hello,
I do not have any recent experience with a Mac and I am trying to have my sister-in-law upload some files onto my server.  When she gets to the server she can not upload the files.  I do not know what could possibly causing the issue.  Is there some drastic difference between uploading files from Mac and from Windows?

Thanks!

Are you trying to FTP the files to the server ? Try running it in Passive mode if you have problems

Coudl you decribe the software or name of the application that you are using ?

She is trying to ftp the files to the server.  What does that mean "Passive mode"?  My apologies but I really know nothing about Macs.  Will she know what Passive mode means?  Thank you very much for you effort!

I will spare the technicalities of it but FTP clients can operate in two modes, the differ in the way they communicate with the server. If it is a graphical piece of software then if you look in the options for the connection you should find something like "PASV mode"

my apologies for taking so long to clear this up.  I have not heard back from her on this issue but that is not your fault.  Thanks!
