Size of frames is shifiting when I switch from 800x600 mode to 1024x768

I have a 3 frame page.
In the top frame I have a background with a Logo and some text (all on 1 graphic).
If I adjust the frame below it to just come up to the bottom of the graphic in 1024x768 mode, when I switch to 800x600, the top graphic is chopped on the bottom by the lower frame. If make it work in 800x600 when I switch back, there is too much space below the graphic. Is this just the nautre of frames or what?

Yes, if you're using percentages for the heights of your frames.
For example if your top frame is 20% high, at 1024x768 the top frame is about 153 pixels, while at 800x600 it's only 120 pixels high - so your graphic may get chopped off. Try and specify pixels for the frames.

If this is not the case - then please post the frame code so we can see what's going on.

NOTE: Frames can be horribly unreliable in how different browsers handle them - so one has to be cautious...
