Utility to capture SMTP traffic

Hi,

I would like to find a utility that will capture the SMTP traffic while I am sending email via outlook express and Pegasus email in XP Pro. I know there is a debug in Pegasus email but I would like to find a utility program separate so I can compare the difference in the conversation between the two email programs. What I have is Outlook Express is sending a PDF file just fine and Pegasus is not for some reason. The file looks like it's being sent with no errors but it doesn't get to it's destination. Both programs are running on the same XP Pro PC sending the same file to the same email address. I personally think it's an ISP problem but my ISP doesn't want to look at the traffic so I can figure out the problem.

I'm not familiar with where these particular settings are in Pegasus, but in Outlook Express look at TOOLS->OPTIONS->SEND->PLAIN TEXT SETTINGS for the "Mail Sending Format". Is Pegasus set up the same way as Outlook Express is here?

Yes. I have always sent plain text in Pegasus. Sending in plain text doesn't show me the conversation that is going on between the client and the server. I need to figure out why the Pegasus email with attachment is not getting to it's destination.
