Removable Storage service won't start
I am trying to backup using a tape drive but my Removable Storage service which is set to automatic won't start.
When I try to start it manually I get the message:
"The Removable Storage Service on Local Computer started then stopped"
The only dependancy is the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) which is functioning correctly.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
David

That is my problem but unfortunately the Windows 2000 Server fix requires me to right click on rsm.inf. There is no rsm.inf in Windows XP only a rsm.exe.
