Hi ,
I have an MFC application running under windows 2000 and XP. ON XP when the memory usage becomes around 14000 k i notice that my screen turns black . On 2000 this thing does not happen.
What can i do to get around it?
Why does the screen turn black on XP?

Do you mean that your monitor turns off and you have to reboot?

I might have had a similar experience, though I am not sure if it is exactly memory that is effecting it.  You might want to look on the microsoft technet website for some clues.
