Progress Bar showing progress from 0 to 100%

Ok this is a bit too advanced for me...

I have a JSP page that allows the user to click browse button and load file when they click ok the file is loaded into database and displayed in lower portion of the screen. Some files might contain as much as 400 to 500 rows. How would I set up progress bar to show the % loaded and acuall progress?
