I am burning a cd with Outlook pst files, but whenever I burn the cd, it makes the files read only.  I would like to remove this without having to copy the file to the pc first.  I checked and the files are not read only until they are moved to the burn project.  I am using Roxio Easy CD Creator 5.

You can only read from a cd-rom, that's why these files are made read-only (to prevent errors) So when you burn a cd-rom you won't be able to change things anymore. You might want to use a CD-RW disk and use packet writing software.

And if someone is using Roxio, how exactly does "packet writing" firgure into things?
