I need basic help with Front Page frames and how they operate.

I am really struggling with FP and a frames page.
I create the page with frames and keep getting screwed up when I save.
When I say "save as" am I saving the entire page with all frames or am I saving just the frame that is selected.
How do I create the page the way I want it, then save it so it comes in the same way.
Seems that when I take that same framed page and make modifications so that it can represent another page or link, the next time I bring it in, the frame contents have changed.
Crazy or just stupid?

For individual frames - open the individual documents. If you're only changing one of the frames, there's no need to open up the framset, as FP will open all pages that go in the framset as well, which can get confusing.

The only time you need to open the actual frameset page is when you need to make modifications to it. Click on the "Frames Page HTML" tab when you're doing this so you can see the actual frameset code, and save it while you're still on that tab.

Try to avoid using the "Preview" tab in FP - always use the Preview in Browser mode to see your entire frameset in action. (This goes for all other pages as well) The display you get in your Browser is preferable to FP's screen.
