Installing second hard drive

Hi-
  I have just installed a Western Digital Raptor S-ATA hard drive on an Asus P4C800-E mobo.  I installed Win XP pro on this hard drive.  Now, I have a 120 gb IBM hard drive I want to install as a second hard drive for storage.  I installed it and the Bios recognizes it, but I don't know what to do now so that Win XP recognizes the new hard drive.  Do I have to partition and format it?  Thanks for your help.

Yes you need to partition and format. You can do this from disk manegment.

Go To the Control Panel under
Administrative Tools then
Computer Management then open
Storage and last disk managment
