Hi netcool,

open a telnet connection to the other machine to execute commands on the remote machine .... basically you need a shell (command interpreter) to receive the commands at the other end

Cheers!

telnet runs on port 23 by default ...

a simple telnet IP_ADDRESS should do it

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

hi,
you can also use the "remote command" utility (within the resourcekit), it's like telnet is, only the performance it alot better..
it can be downloaded from microsoft.com/downloads

Windows may have built in command line support for executing on the remote machine. What is it exactly you're trying to do....or do you just want a whole remote interface?
