Hi,
I have a question. i have 2 offices at different location. both are currently using Windows SBS. as i know sbs can only allow one Domain Controler. If i setup a VPN connection btw this two sides by using linksys VPN DSL router, will it causes problem to transfer file on both sides?

Thanks.

The bottom line here is that it will work but not very well!

Normally if you have a DC on each end of a WAN connection you'd setup a Trust Relationship. This would allow you to access resources on both domains plus full domain browsing would be possible.

To access resources in your proposed setup, the user would end up getting login prompts as their local domain account has no access to anything on the remote domain.  You can try saving the password, this may help. It's up to you whether this kind of thing is acceptable or not.

In terms of accessing regular services like FTP, POP3 WEB servers etc. there'd be no problem.
