I am unable to get a schedual task to run. I am using calculator as a test application. I am the administrator, so that will be account name, the password was different from the admin PW. the error message "could not start" is displayed. I have tried to force the task to run but nothing happens. Has anyone had the same problem?

set it to the same password, you're running the task as administrator, so the password should also be the one from the administrator.

Thanks Lucf your response was both quick and accurate.  It has solved my problem. I just needed to run a batch file every ten mins just keep our adsl vpn alive. This enabled the client end to stay intouch with the network.

Thanks again
