I have been working with a turorial I found on working with dynamic data. The tutorial is located at
http://flash-db.com/Tutorials/databind/CatalogTutorial.php?page=1

I have minimized the project where I have data loading into a datagrid. I have deleted most of the elements on the page. Basically I have a second dataset that I am trying to pull data in from and when you select a item in the datagrid I want it to reload dataset 2 and display information in the label on the page called bio_text. I can't seem to get that part to work. what am I doing wrong? Here is a link to my file if you would be willing to help. I am very new to working with flash with dynamic data.

First, you mistyped the name in the actionscript.  You named the component "bio_txt" but in the action you refer to it as "bio_text".
Secondly, bio_txt is an object.  You don't want to equate your new the object to your new data, you want to equate its text property.  The command you need is the following:

bio_txt.text = data2_ds.items[nr].Bio;

Sorry, but I don't have time at the moment to look into the other have of the question.  I'll check back to see if you've gotten the help you need there.
