Performance impact of Rowset Size = 0?

I have an issue with my application that apparently (according to my research on the net) can be fixed by setting Rowset Size to 0 or installing a different version of the BDE. The application is deployed on over a dozen Citrix servers, so updating the BDE is the less attractive of the two options.

I'm just wondering if there will be any negative impact on performance due to setting Rowset Size to 0.

Rowset Size is currently at 20. I use Oracle, in case that matters.

Hello

I haven't used BDE from long time, but setting the rowset size = 0 will reduce the performance, set this property to more than 20 will give better performance,

I prefer you to update the BDE to the latest version, because it's remove the old bugs that you have, try it in one server and see the diffrence

Any idea as to how much performance degradation by setting ROWSET SIZE to 0?

it's depend on your application, try to test that, if you don't return much rows, maybe you will not see big differents
