how do i remove the spider search.com bar from my computer.

Also use that hijackthis software and post the log file here ..

We will be able to detect and let you know how to remove it from registry

Check these registry entries and see if you see spider search there.. If you have delete those

You may run hijackthis as I had said and can find these entries..

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer,SearchURL = http://www.spidersearch.com/frame_results.php
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://www.spidersearch.com/frame_results.php
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://www.spidersearch.com/frame_results.php
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = http://www.spidersearch.com/frame_results.php

If you find these delete them
