have a branch office DC that is not replicating with the other DCs in the

I have tried the "Procedures for Troubleshooting Access Denied Replication
Errors", purging the ticket cache, etc. but when I try to reset the computer
account, I receive the following error: "The machine account password...
could not be reset. The parameter is incorrect".

I am still receiving NTDS 1311 errors and clients can only login via another
DC (an off-site one), which causes problems when the VPN link goes down!

Do you have sites configured in AD?

Can you create a 2nd DC at the branch office (MS Best practice by the way)?

As far as I can tell, sites are configured correctly.

No opportunity to have a second DC at the branch office, there's only 7 computers in total!
