I am trying to understand what Multicasting is and how it works for an exam and i am having trouble finding resources that explain it clearly.
I understand it is to do with broadscasting to a group of computers. But how does it work, what exacly is a multicast address?

Can anyone give me more detail, or point me in the right direction...thanks
