Hi,

I have a flash website but when I make changes it doesn't refresh when I hit refresh I have to delete my internet temp files for the changes to show up. How do I get it to reload the site without having to do this. It is fine for me but I can't make the rest of the people on the net do it :).

Thanks onestar

You could try making a movie clip that dynamically loads your main movie from the web server, this forces flash to load up the swf everytime you play the movie.

Ok I will give it a try. I also tried setting a meta tag. <META name="Expires" content="Tue, 01 Jun 1999 19:58:02 GMT"> It works when you shutdown explore and restart it up. Refresh doesn't effect it. But it is helping.

It is pretty much impossible to stop the flash file getting cached, i have found that if you call the page that contains the file and add a random number to the URL e.g. mySWF.swf?2341 the swf file is downloaded everytime thus showing the latest data.
