Hello, I am just wondering if someone can provide an example for using custom1/custom2 in cfindex verity? Macromedia should really enhance the manual, it's far from enough to figure out the way to use it...

What I am trying to do is to return the datelastmodified of the search result..

Thank you.

Here is an example from the Cold Fusion Web Application Construction Kit:

<cfquery datasource="ows" name=GetResults">
SELECT MerchID, MerchName, MerchDescription, FilmID FROM Merchandise
</cfquery>

<cfindex action="refresh" collection="Merchandise" type="custom" key="MerchID" title="MerchName" Query="GetResults" Body="MerchName,MerchDescription" custom1="FilmID">

Then later you can use the filmID to create a link to a page that displays the film info.

In your case as long as you have the datelastmodified available then you can just insert that into the custom1 field.

Does this help or were you looking for something else?
