Is there a way to assure unique resource IDs in VS6

When using VC++6.0 and VS I am getting duplicate resource IDs. Mainly it comes with cut and paste controls from one (sub)dialog to another within the same project. I assume that its not good to have several controls with the same ID (numerically) even when they are used in different dialogs but inside the same app. Is there a(n easy) way to avoid duplicates when using cut and paste?

Why? No problem at all.

And how about dialog IDs (IDD_MYDIALOG = IDD_MYDIALOG2)?

This may be a problem. It happens to me also, sometimes with strings, controls etc. which gives completely unpredicatable results. If I see that it happened I manually retype values in resource.h - a (not) easy way.

So its me who has to keep an eye on the IDs and hopefully I recognize this before I loose hours in debugging. Would be a nice tool to have.
