I purchased a new Cisco 1721 router in order to replace the old NILE router for FR connection. The serial cable is CAB-V35MT, one end is V.35 and the other end is DB-60 serial. <br />

When I tried to connect the new Cisco 1721 router, it did not get signal from ISP. Later I found the the old v.35 port and new v.35 port have different pin layout. The old v.35 has PIN on J but no on K, but the new v.35 has PIN on K but no on J. It seems that the old v.35 is not a standard port. <br />

Did you meet the similar problem? Do you know where I can order a customized cable? <br />
