Hi,
i use the ActiveX ADO to a Microsoft access. The Ado object provides a function SetRecordSource to set the SQL command string and the GetRecordset to have a handle to a C_Recordset for DB manipulation. The problem is that in order to make continiously SQL requests i find handy to use the C_Recordset::Open(). I have a difficulty to insert a VARIANT with the pDispatch of the ActiveConnection as a second argument for the Open function. First of all how do i get this VT_DISPATCH value . Any ideas or examples?

   Regards,
      Teo.

You might want to look at
www.codeproject.com/database/caaadoclass1.asp

The classes there are very usefull.  (I use a modified version for ADO onto MS Access).
