Output on Armada M700 Ac Adapter: 18.5V, 2.7A.  This information is directly off the information sticker of my Compaq Armada M700 adapter.

I just happen to have a Compaq Armada M700! :-)  My AC adapter says the same thing, 18.5 volt, 2.7 amp, 50 watt.

---

A while back, Compaq had a recall on the older AC adapters because of a hazard, and they were replacing the AC adapters free of charge.

Another side note: The 50 watt, 2.7 amp AC adapter works fine for the Compaq Armada M700 series and the Compaq EVO n600c.  However, you should know that the Compaq EVO n610c series uses the 65 watt, 3.5 amp AC adapter.  The 65w adapter is backwards compatible.  But DON'T use the 50w adapter with the n610c as it could result in a thermal overload.  The two AC adapters look almost alike.  The 50w adapter has the black tip while the 65w adapter has the yellow tip.
