Task Resequencing

I'm "designing" forms for a project management web service in Visio.  Setting up a Project requires users to enter tasks.  A separate form is used to enter each task, and includes among other things, fields for the Task Name, Task Description, etc.

Another form displays the tasks for the project in numberic order.  How can I design a way of allowing user to reseqence the task listing in different numeric order-- Preferably in very user friendly manner, perhaps by clicking on task, and dragging it up to where user would like it in sequence--similar to how moving Favorites in MS IE?

Same problem applies to project phases.  Suggestions on how this is done are welcome.

Thanks,

I've set up pages similar to this in the past and just had a link to an update page which pulled the records in from the database and allowed the order number to be changed to whatever they wanted.  Then when the information is displayed, order it by ascending order.

Hope this helps.
