I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hello

BDE use DAO 3.5 which support only Access 97 and below, if you would to work with access 2000 or XP I suggest you to use ADO components that ships with Delphi 6 and 7 Pro edition, its the prefered way to work with MS databases, and doesn't require any DLL to deploy, just the .exe and .mdb file only

Regards,
Mohammed
