Hi...

When I click a hyperlink in my document with target = "_blank", another browser pops up but in MINIMIZED form. How can i adjust so that it always pops up with MAXIMIZED form.

you could change ur code to this instead of target = "_blank"

"window.open(this.href, 'popupwindow', 'width=set the size u want,height=set the size u want,scrollbars,resizable'); return false;"

hope it helps

Here is my code

<a href="outPrbDetAss_sp.htm" target="_blank">Open</a>

Is there any way to set it so that when I click the hyperlink, a maximized browser pops up all the time? (i mean via html alone without javascript)

hmm.. i dont really think u could just use html alone if you want to set/fix the browser size the moment the user clicks on the link

you could check this out very useful but its javascript

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

<a href="outPrbDetAss_sp.htm" target="OPDAWin">Open</a>

or some other made-up name. This spawns a new window that is the same as the default window size/location for that user (just as if the user started a new instance of the browser).

However, to guarantee that the window is maximised, you will have to use JavaScript.

hi

It can't work....this is the code

 <a href="#" target="window.open('prbDet_rq.htm', 'popwin','width=500,height=400,status=yes,toolbar=no,menubar=no')">Open</a>

I think I have followed what you all recommend me but however i set the width and height it shows no effect.

I came across the same problem as yours.
Try this:
Put the following line in the HTML code of the pop up window at the start of the body section

<body onLoad="window.focus()">

This should help
