changing file icon programmatically !

How can I change programmatically the icon associated with an executable file.

If I compile my project, the application is receiving the first icon from the list.

The IDR_MAINFRAME icon has been removed and I can than change the frame icon dynamically but I want to change also the icone shown in the explorer window and desktop !

Any idea to do this ?

What Language?

A quick solution would be to call ResourceHacker from your appl http://www.users.on.net/johnson/resourcehacker/
Look in the helpfile for command line
