seperating music from my video (.dat) file

i want to add voice for my flash wbt . i have a video of training session with the voice in it. its in .dat file i dono much abt music tools. in which software i can able to seperate voice from my .dat file. plz suggest me some free software available on net.

Ah, in flash mx 2004 you can import a video splittin audio from video. (but I don't know if you can import a *.dat file)
