router support for cable modem

I have adsl connection now. My router works fine with adsl modem. Later I want to switch to cable modem. How can I know if my router is able to support cable modem?

Most of the routers support cable modem ?

which router you have now ? which modem you plan to move to ?

I have GNET BB0040 modem/router combo. I guess this one is not good for cable modem since it's tied with adsl modem. Can you spill some router names that are known to work with cable modem. About cable modem - I don't know, it comes from provider (Rogers cable)
