I don't have that option as both are Wireless...what if you turn off the sleep mode...will the display go off upon closing the lid...just a thought...<br />

Called Apple Support today...you need to go to System Pref...Bluetooth...and make sure that &quot;allow Bluetooth Accessories to wkaeup laptop&quot;...then you can close the lid and it works.<br />

I recently purchased a G4 Powerbook and am using an LCD external monitor with it...problem is that I want to turn off the screen on the laptop while I ma using the larger LCD...F7 key seems to only switch it back and forth from mirror mode...The other interesting thing is that when I plug the external monitor in to the laptop...when in mirror mode the wallpaper defaults to the Apple default blue...<br />

Turning Off Powerbook Screen

All of Apple's hardware is produced solely by Apple Inc., who determines internal systems, designs, and prices. Apple buys certain components wholesale from third-party manufacturers. The current Mac product family uses Intel x86-64 processors. All Mac models ship with at least 1 GB RAM as standard. Current Mac computers use ATI Radeon or nVidia GeForce graphics cards and include a dual-function DVD and CD burner, called the SuperDrive.
