How to recover active directory password

Hi!

Here is my big problem,

One of our employee has gone away and by the way has change our administrator password in active directory. I would like to know if there is a way to recover this password (Third party software or other).

Since @stake LC4 need administrator privilige we cant afford to use it.

P.S : I giving 125 pts for this one

I dont know if you still need an answer to this question it was posted quite some time ago but here we go anyways. The approach I used when I took over responsibility of a AD that the former administrator didnt bother to leave the administrator password with someone when he left was to use this following link.

Hello Jason,

Thank you very much for this trick I like. On windows 2000 with no SP installed this is working well but on other hand in Windows 2003 the hole was fix by microsoft. If you know a way on how to achieve it in Windows 2003 i would be glad you send me the answer as well.
