np, you were answering someone else's post, i just needed to have some clarification on it, you could have chosen not to answer my followup question, but you did so you deserve the points

i have wanted a custom 404 for over a year, even created and posted it, worked on invalid asp and html calls but not 404 or invalid cfm and the admin couldn't/wouldn't explain to me why it wasn't working, now i know
