Hi,

I have a small search engine here in my university and I need a way of sorting the results in a proper manner.

Basicaly the search gets the image from our medical department  from the web pages of the university server,  and then what I want to do is to present the image reults imagine 200 distributed correctly in a table of 3 images in a row ( abit like in picsearch.com).

I cant do this because the images appear always in 1 row in one column. I tried many possible ways but I cant manage to make it in 3 images per row.

Any help would be great!

Thanks.

Seeing your other post, and then seeing this post, I think this should be posted in the HTML section.  However, I will answer it here for ease of reference.

It seems you are only putting <tr> tags in your code (table rows).  In addition to this, properly formatted HTML requires the <td> tag, which stands for table data.  Your HTML output should be something like this (for HTML 3.2 formatting) to create a 3x3 grid of pictures.

<table>
  <tr><td>Image here</td><td>Image here</td><td>Image here</td></tr>
  <tr><td>Image here</td><td>Image here</td><td>Image here</td></tr>
  <tr><td>Image here</td><td>Image here</td><td>Image here</td></tr>
</table>
