1. Go into Exchange System Manager
2. Expand to your Server under admin
(Administrative Groups>> DOMAIN-NAME
3. Right click on DOMAIN-NAME folder, Properties.
4. Your going to see an Exchange Service Account
(with Administrator listed)
5. Click MODIFY
6. Retype your password, verify password.
7. Hit OK, OK, close out System Manager.
8. Restart Exchange services.

Greetings, Raybans!
Looks like you have a virus and made your Norton AV disfunctional.  Run one of these online AV scanners.

Housecall Online Scan
http://housecall.antivirus.com
or
Symantec Security Check
http://security.symantec.com/ssc/vc_scan.asp?j=1&langid=ie&venid=sym&plfid=23&pkj=ROSUPWFYJOKMFIDPMSV

Best wishes, war1

was not a virus

as found on the symantec website eventually this error occurs if you have sp3 or lower on exchange 5.5

even though sp4 was installed, it appears some components where running of pre sp4 versions.

one of the techs enabled webaccess after the installation was finished, and most likely did not reapply sp4, so there was a mix of post sp4 and pre sp4 versions within exchange.

solution

remove Nortons for SMS for Exchange

re-apply SP4 for exchange 5.5

install Nortons SMS for exchange

everything back to normal

thanks for your help thoough

After re-apply sp4 and Norton SMS, will the problem happen again later?
