here's what you should check before all else:

1. search for the file System.*

(
.Pas should be in C:\Program Files\Borland\Delphi7\Source\Rtl\Sys
.DCU should be in C:\Program Files\Borland\Delphi7\Lib
)

2. Check to see if any of these paths are specified in the tools>environment options>library>library path (if not add them)

Hi xxflip,

Thank you for your taking time to answer my question.

But i didnt try your Instructions,coz i had reinstalled Delphi 6 Trial Version and the project is running again.

I actually deleted Deplhi 6 Trial version yesterday from my computer.I coudnt uninstall it coz i didnt find it in Windows/Remove Prgrams.Then i deleted the registry entries using regedit.Then i installed Trial version again and registered it online.

Today when i started Delphi,quite strangely i was asked for the serial number and auth key(since i registered it yesterday).Nevertheless i  entered them,but i had this Unable to run the project problem.

Now i posted the error on this site.Then i did the Deletion work again to install Delphi anew.The project is running......but i think the problem would repeat
again .

Any solutions!
