place a javascript function in your html
eg..

<script language="JavaScript">

function googleWindow ()
{
window.open("googleWindow.htm", "googleWindowWinName", "toolbar=no, location=no, directories=no, statusbar=no, menubar=no, scrollbars=no, resizable=no, top=0, left=0")
}
</script>

call it from flash

on(release){
getURL("javascript:googleWindow()");
}

I think you dont have to use getURL for the javaScript function if he/she is using textBox to accept HTML

<A HREF="javaScript:googleWindow()">Google</A>
(Within Text Box, and the Text box has "Render as HTML" checked in the properties inspector)

would it be possible to have the link in the text box to pass a variable containing the link address to the javascript in the html page so that i could have mulitple links reffering to the same code?
