i am useing flash mx 2004

i have this link within a text box that is html enabled:

<A HREF="http://www.google.com" target="_blank" statusbar=no>Google</A>

i am unable to get the statusbar to "hide" or any of these functions to work:

place a javascript function in your html
eg..

<script language="JavaScript">

function googleWindow ()
{
window.open("googleWindow.htm", "googleWindowWinName", "toolbar=no, location=no, directories=no, statusbar=no, menubar=no, scrollbars=no, resizable=no, top=0, left=0")
}
</script>

call it from flash

on(release){
getURL("javascript:googleWindow()");
}

I think you dont have to use getURL for the javaScript function if he/she is using textBox to accept HTML

<A HREF="javaScript:googleWindow()">Google</A>
(Within Text Box, and the Text box has "Render as HTML" checked in the properties inspector)

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

you are quite right adilkhan..the getURL is not necessary.

yes thank you that does work.

but does this mean that i have to have a javascript function for each link that i want to open in that kind of window?

would it be possible to have the link in the text box to pass a variable containing the link address to the javascript in the html page so that i could have mulitple links reffering to the same code?
