Data replication is possible with high end databases or SQL servers.  But is there a possibility to achieve similar results in BDE ?  I want my user to modify various records onto two (or more) copies of a table in different locations.  Then once a day (or a week) bring all these copies in one of the location and do a synhronizing job where all records modified in one location get updated in the other and vice-versa.

Is this possible ? and how

you must do this by hand,
using TBatchMove or if it does not fit you must code your own
Replication-routine

Ouch !
To your knowledge, has anyone done any component or module that could do the job ?

using paradox BDE. I must be able to work on any of the locations without considering one of the tables as a master.

It's a bit like the PALM pda where you can invariably work on the PDA itself or on the computer. Then, upon synchronizing, it will take the newest work of both sides and merge it inside the other side.  Of course an event could be fired if same record has changed on both locations after last update.
