We have a Microsoft Exchange 5.5 sp3 server with a mixed enviroment of Outlook versions. When anyone tries to delete more than 1 email at a time OUTLOOK locks up and the only way to get out of it is to end task...I dont see any knowledge base on this. Has anyone experienced this? PLEASE HELP....Thanks in advance

The first link is for defragmentation.  The second gives the many uses of ESEUTIL.  It will defrag, repair, and quite a bit more.
If this were only on one system I would suggest a Detect and Repair on that Outlook.  Since it sounds like a universal problem the source should be the Exchange Server.  Maybe ESEUTIL will find and fix that problem.  Be sure you have a good backup of the ES database in case it gets trashed (that is a slim, but possible result of using utils such as this).

In looking at this I have seen two suggestions.  One of them is ESEUTIL.  If you have looked at all command line options of ESEUTIL and have not been successful, you can try Exchange's Optimizer program.
