Hello,

Anybody know how to do this-

I need some code to make one page load up another one. Here is what should happen:

1. user clicks a link
2. link opens "page 1".
3. "page 2" opens (near enough) straight away, replacing page 1.

any ideas? thanks!

That works spot on thanks!

The reason i'm doing it is because i'm nowhere near good enough with asp to do some of the things i need to do, so i'll just take a few long ways around the problem.

In this case, the user clicks the link, it goes to page 1 where some asp code is run and a particular variable is added to  a DB, then page 2 comes up and can re-use that variable.

This is what happens when u leave coursework till the last minute before christmas!

Thanks
