Almost but I want to actually write the appropriate serial number into the BIOS. &nbsp;Some systems such as IBM provide a means to Flash the BIOS with an update so that you can manually change the reported serial number. &nbsp;That is what I am looking for.

Yes, that is the answer I have been getting from all over. &nbsp;Too bad the computer is in use by a client and at this time cannot be taken out of production use. &nbsp;I guess I will have to wait. &nbsp; &nbsp;If there are no other responses in the next couple of days I will award the points. &nbsp;<br />
