Insert question

Hello,

I'm new to PHP.

When I run the following code, I get the error below.
$sql = "INSERT INTO service(`s_Name`) VALUES('$s_name');"

if (@mysql_query($sql, $dbcnx)){ <- Line 20
echo('Connected');
}

Parse error: parse error in /home/anudaysp/public_html/process.php on line 20

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

the $sql statement has the ; inside the quotes.  Move it to after the quotes.

$sql = "INSERT INTO service(`s_Name`) VALUES('$s_name')";
