doevents - the functions before this command must be done....

The code above in the programm must be completely worked through, before the next command comes.

In VB  there is the command doevents...
Is there the same or better procedure in delphi ??????

thank you

Basically it processes any messages in the application's message queue, so that things like redraw/refresh work. You'd use it, for example:
1. Screen.Cursor := crHourglass
2. Application.ProcessMessages
3. Do lengthy operation
4. Screen.Cursor := crDefault

Line 2 is important as the screen cursor wouldn't otherwise update until after the lengthy operation.

Application.ProcessMessages if that is what you mean. It's hard to tell...
