Not able to register a server in IBconsole

hi experts,
  iam a migrant from asp.net & sql200  to delphi 7 & interbase..i have installed delphi in a standalone pc  and when i goto ibconsole to register a server.it asks for login and password ..when i give on .. a error is generated that says....ask database administrator to provide you previlage.. i don't get it here..as its a standalone and my os win 98 2nd edition..is not password protected r something..please help  me.. as iam stuck in the beginning itself

Escuse me I was unclear.

Default administrative account for IB is:

username: sysdba
password: masterkey
